What’s The AO Project about?

I like good clothes. I don't like fuss. This place is about getting dressed well without making a big deal of it.

By day I work in rooms where first impressions count. Over the years I noticed the best-dressed man there was rarely the one trying hardest. It was the one whose clothes fit, went together, and let him get on with his day.

That's the whole idea behind The AO Project. The Italians call it sprezzatura: looking good without looking like you tried. In practice it means calm colours, proper fit, no loud logos, and pieces you'll still want to wear in five years.

Here you'll find outfit ideas, simple style rules and the odd piece worth buying, plus a few everyday rituals that make life run a bit smoother.
